  142. ===== Installation =====================================
  143.  
  144. The installation procedure for Z & Z Color is quite simple.  The
  145. package includes a program, "INSTALL.EXE", which automates the
  146. entire process.  You will need about 2 Meg of available disk space
  147. on the hard drive on which you plan to install Z & Z Color.
  148.  
  149. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received
  150. Z & Z Color.
  151.  
  152.  
  153. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  154.  
  155. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  156.  
  157.    o  If you are not already running Microsoft Windows, start it up.
  158.  
  159.    o  Place Z & Z Color distribution diskette in the appropriate
  160.       diskette drive.
  161.  
  162.    o  Select the File, Run command from the program manager to execute
  163.       the "INSTALL.EXE" program on the distribution diskette. For
  164.       example, if the distribution diskette is on drive A:, type the
  165.       command, "a:install" in the dialog box.
  166.  
  167.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  168.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  169.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
  170.       program will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy
  171.       the Z & Z Color files to that directory.  It will make no other
  172.       changes; specifically, it will not modify your autoexec.bat or
  173.       config.sys files.

  176. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  177.  
  178. If you downloaded Z & Z Color from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  179. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  180. following steps.

  182.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  183.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  184.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  185.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  186.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  187.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  188.       directions for this from the same source from which you received
  189.       the package.

  191.    o  Select the File, Run command from the Windows program manager to

  193.       example, if the temporary directory into which you have extracted
